Ledbury is no Haye-on-Wye but this small town does boast three bookshops on its High Street.

A Book Lovers Walk Around Ledbury
CN Bibliographic is a traditional bookbinders in Church Lane, Ledbury. Their website is worth a visit (Click Here) and so is their shop - if it is open to callers. You may need the services of CN Bibliographic after you have visited and purchased various books from Keith Smith Books. This bookshop specialises in the Dymock Poets, First World War Poetry, Ivor Gurney, F. W. Harvey, Needlecrafts and Local Interest Books. When we were there we bought (among other titles) Historical Tales for Young Protestants (really!) and a family Bible. We reckon that both were from the same house and will be publishing more about them soon.
Keith Smith Books is at 78b The Homend, Ledbury, Hereforshire HR8 1BX is now closed. Keith Smith is still in second hand books but now works from home.
Three Counties Bookshop is near the market building. It boasts an eclectic selection but so do all small bookshops in our opinion. You never know what you'll find, which authors will be featured and what amazing discounts are being offered. Yes, there are some really amazing discounts from time to time and so this shop is always worth a look.
Three Counties Bookshop carries a range of books about Ledbury which are great for day-trippers and holiday makers. This bookshop also supplies a comprehensive range of artists materials: oil, water and acrylic paints, paintbrushes, pencils and sundries.
Ledbury Books and Maps is also worth a visit. Obviously for those of us into maps (all sorts and all ages) this is a heavenly place. Found on the High Street just over the road from Lebbury Park (see a photo on the right) you're bound to be passing anyway. Another eclectic selection but, strangely, there are few duplicates.
